I think people underestimate how much free travel they can accumulate with just some simple planning. I don't mind carrying a few credit cards and spending some time every few weeks to chase a new sign-up bonus to accumulate points. However, Polaris is IMO inferior to Delta One as a business class product in every way except for the ground experience (Polaris lounge > Sky Club). It's not a problem with United as they allow Global Services members to create an exemption to manufacture saver space on each itinerary (United metal only). Trying to find award availability for business class saver tickets is such a hassle, especially when you travel with someone else.
